The Cleaner is dedicated to maintaining a high standard of hygiene and tidiness within assigned spaces. This role focuses on the efficient execution of cleaning tasks to ensure environments are sanitary, visually appealing, and comfortable. Whether in a residential, office, or industrial setting, the Cleaner works systematically to sanitize surfaces, remove waste, and maintain the aesthetic order of the facility.
The Cleaner will perform a variety of custodial duties for Vaakawi. Such responsibilities shall be in accordance with established standards, instructions, and procedures of Vaakawi.

Job Responsibilities
Core Responsibilities
- Surface Cleaning: Dust, wipe down, and polish furniture, fixtures, ledges, and window sills.
- Sanitization: Deep clean and disinfect high-touch areas (doorknobs, light switches, countertops) and restrooms to prevent the spread of germs.
- Floor Maintenance: Vacuum carpets and rugs; sweep and mop hard floors.
- Waste Removal: Empty trash cans and replace liners; sort recycling into appropriate bins.
- Supply Management: Notify management or supervisors when cleaning supplies or consumables (soap, tissues) run low.
- Specialized Cleaning: (Depending on the specific role) Perform deep cleaning tasks such as shampooing carpets, cleaning inside appliances, or sanitizing medical equipment.
