Wow, it has been quite some time since we updated this blog! We apologize for the radio silence here on the web. Like everyone else in the Valley, we’ve just had our heads down working hard over the last couple of years.

We know things are tough right now. You can't turn on the news or open a newspaper without hearing about the housing crisis or the stock market. We see it every day, driving around Phoenix—lots of "For Sale" and foreclosure signs in neighborhoods that used to be booming.

We understand that everyone is tightening their belts right now. That’s actually why we wanted to write this post.

It is already mid-April, which means two things here in Phoenix: the snowbirds are starting to head back north, and the real heat is just around the corner. We’ve already seen a few days hitting the high 80s!

It seems like everyone in the Valley is taking advantage of this crazy real estate market and upgrading their homes. We are seeing a lot of folks turning their bonus rooms into dedicated "home theaters" or "media rooms."

It makes sense! With the price of gas going up, why not stay home and watch a DVD on one of those new high-definition plasma screens? They are incredible.
