It seems like everyone in the Valley is taking advantage of this crazy real estate market and upgrading their homes. We are seeing a lot of folks turning their bonus rooms into dedicated "home theaters" or "media rooms."

It makes sense! With the price of gas going up, why not stay home and watch a DVD on one of those new high-definition plasma screens? They are incredible.

If you are surfing the web today using your dial-up connection, you probably already know that spring in Phoenix means two things: the heat is turning up, and the dust is settling everywhere. We haven't had a good monsoon rain in a while, and our poor carpets are feeling it.

Wow. Is it hot enough for you yet? I don't know about you, but the thermometer on our back porch over in Scottsdale hit 112 degrees yesterday. It is officially a scorcher here in the Valley of the Sun.

We keep looking at the clouds, hoping for a good monsoon storm to cool things down, but so far it’s just been a lot of wind and stormy weather. You know what wind means in Phoenix—dust everywhere!
